About Yokel
English born and bred, but now an outsider in this "Land Fit for Heros" that his parent's generation fought and died for.
Frustrated that no-one can seem to change the long term goals of our rulers!
This fine figure of a man could be my Great Uncle Yokel. The picture was found in East Anglia where the likeness had been prepared by Barré Funnell, and realised by Anne Funnell.
He could even have been the English Yokel who is reported to have said: "Sometimes I sits and thinks, but mostly I just sits" .
