Motorists should be blamed for accidents with cyclists even if it's not their fault, says Government advisor

"A Transport Department spokesman said: 'This is something that gets raised by pressure groups from time to time. Cycling England has proposed it, but it is not something that is being considered by ministers.'"

Given that cyclists can always behave recklessly, irresponsibly, and illegally without any form of come back, Yokel thinks that we should all be comforted by the denial, and look forward to its implementation. For it is obviously the right thing to do, especially as Cycling England is an "agency" funded by the Transport Department.

Roll on the days when the Gestapo ban cycling on arbitrary days of the week in order to identify those from outside the local area who do not know this week's rules.

In just the same way as the true Christian church had to go "underground" during the Soviet era in order to survive, Yokel is thinking that the resistors to the EUSSR had better start organising in the same way.

Firstly there is the continuing onslaught onto Christianity. No other religion is attacked in the same way. It must be something to do with the truth that is in Christ that cannot be found elsewhere.

Secondly there is the continuing development of intrusive surveillance capability, and the laws to make its use mandatory.

Twenty years ago, neither of these developments would have worried Yokel, largely because he thought he could trust the people in power. Now, based solely on their track record over these past years, Yokel has put such blind trust away, in the same way as a child puts his toys away when he becomes a man.

Loners sitting behind their screens to express their opinions have had their day. Underground contacts must be personal, knowing the people sufficiently well to know which side they are really on before trusting any information. We still have time to build such networks before the surveillance prevents it.

Sorry for the lack of attribution, Yokel has forgotten precisely where he saw this picture earlier on today. It was on an American blog about the demos in Washington DC outside the White House, while The Chosen One had zipped off elsewhere to expound the benefits of "ObamaCare".

There may be those wishing that Yokel had turned his toes sky-ward and was now an ex-Yokel.

No, that hasn't happened, but Yokel has been having a serious think, of which more anon.

It has become quite clear to him though, that the time is now past for protesting about individual acts of foolishness on the part of our rulers. Their foolish acts and conspiracies are coming so thick and fast that it takes a full time blogger to keep up with them. And Yokel has a Bank Manager to feed, amongst others in his wardrobe.

Instead we must turn to declaring the path to come, the path that we should be taking, instead of protesting about the path by which our rulers got us to this awful place.

No, there is nowhere to run to. Just watch the sickening speed with which The Chosen One is destroying that once proud nation, the USA.

Let us not even waste time on the international conspirators, such as Bilderberg, Davos, G20, and the like. For they too are tools of a power that they probably do not recognise, and certainly do not understand.

We must declare our goal, and display our colours.
