Chip & PIN
Cambridge
University Professor of Security Engineering, Ross Anderson, points
out that a
very "interesting" court case about failures in the Chip & PIN system
will be held later this month. It relates to phantom withdrawals from
customer accounts.
Yokel hopes that you will spread the word as widely as you can; there
are serious issues at stake here. The most serious issue is the
extent to which your bank can abdicate its responsibility for the
security of the money that you entrust to it; how much it can blame you
for bank errors and for lack of bank security.

About Yokel
English born and bred, but now an outsider in this "Land Fit for Heros" that his parent's generation fought and died for.
Frustrated that no-one can seem to change the long term goals of our rulers!
This fine figure of a man could be my Great Uncle Yokel. The picture was found in East Anglia where the likeness had been prepared by Barré Funnell, and realised by Anne Funnell.
He could even have been the English Yokel who is reported to have said: "Sometimes I sits and thinks, but mostly I just sits" .
Blame Yokel
Needless to say, Yokel asserts his rights over all his original content. He will try to credit material borrowed from others. If he slips up, please let him know, and he will correct it post haste. Copyright and intellectual property belong to Yokel.
