Don't believe anything until it is denied!
Motorists
should be blamed for accidents with cyclists even if it's not their
fault, says Government advisor
"A Transport Department spokesman said: 'This is something that gets
raised by pressure groups from time to time. Cycling England has
proposed it, but it is not something that is being considered by
ministers.'"
Given that cyclists can always behave recklessly, irresponsibly, and
illegally without any form of come back, Yokel thinks that we should all
be comforted by the denial, and look forward to its implementation. For
it is obviously the right thing to do, especially as Cycling England is
an "agency" funded by the Transport Department.
Roll on the days when the Gestapo ban cycling on arbitrary days of the
week in order to identify those from outside the local area who do not
know this week's rules.
