Now Yokel Knows!
Now Yokel knows why he feels like a stranger in the land of his birth!
It was a deliberate decision by the ruling NuLabour clique.
Yokel is exceedingly glad that someone
snitched on them. The "truth will out" and all of that. Deliberate
decision to get right up his nose. Pause for frustrated anger to calm a
bit.
UPDATE: But if
Sean Gabb is right, it is even worse. "The purpose of the Government
that took power in 1997 was to bring about a revolutionary
transformation of this country – a transformation from which there could
be no return to what had been before."
How to correct it. That is the problem. Any ideas?

This fine figure of a man could be my Great Uncle Yokel. The picture was found in East Anglia where the likeness had been prepared by Barré Funnell, and realised by Anne Funnell.
He could even have been the English Yokel who is reported to have said: "Sometimes I sits and thinks, but mostly I just sits" .
